Sandy Pell's Journey to Vidyard

Sandy is Head of Corporate Communications and Public Relations at Vidyard. Sandy has a broad range of past jobs, all leading her to Vidyard that specializes in creating and hosting video assets. Vidyard is a chrome extension that allows you to record a screen share of your screen & yourself at the same time, and implement the recording into an email. This allows users to share the information they want to get across in a fun and different way that stands out from the typical email communication, and get the analytics to understand how much of the users that received your video actually watched or shared. Free to use, Vidyard offers different tiers to understand your analytics at deeper paid levels if desired. Sandy thinks 2020 is the year of video, with the most traffic coming from video assets and pitches. She says video is a great way to create relationships between people and brands, create communication and culture, and get a point across with little effort. Vidyard made a report in 2019 on the state of video and its growth, you can read it here.

Sany and her husband also dabble in commercial illustrations or murals. They have painted 4 murals for Hootsuite among others around Vancouver, and applied products like beer cans, bike frames and more.
