7 Ways AI Can Make Your Job Easier this Week
WHAT CAN AI ACTUALLY DO FOR YOU?
By now we’ve all seen the ChatGPT screenshots, and may have even posted selfies from Lensa, the AI-enabled thirst-trap generator. We even wrote all about it in The Brief a couple of weeks ago, but the question remains: Can these robots do anything that’s actually helpful?
So, we gathered some of the most interesting use cases and applications out there — and there were a lot. Here are a few of the ones that we found most intriguing:
Pick a domain name for your next project that’s actually available
Provide visual search for the users on your e-commerce website
Bonus: Recreate the White Lotus season 2 opening credits as Home Alone
Good news/bad news for the writers out there: AI hasn’t yet been able to (completely) replace us. In this video, ChatGPT creates a pretty good looking blog post about travel in Scotland, but Google is able to detect it as AI-generated, which means that the post will never rank well in search.
It looks like we're still just skimming the surface of what's possible. If you want to go one more level down the rabbit hole, the best place to start is this primer by the team at Sequoia Capital who have been investing in AI for the better part of a decade.
