Celebrating 25-plus years in the industry, award winning independent PR agency APEX PR has unveiled a series of leadership changes.

Jennifer Stein, previously Senior Vice President, is promoted to the role of Executive Vice President, bringing her two decades of expertise in brand strategy development, client management and creative oversight for clients like Walmart, DoorDash, Roku and Wealthsimple, to a new level. She will serve as the agency’s senior lead for ongoing exceptional client service, client growth strategies, and new business excellence.

Kymberlee Lightowlers, previously Finance Director, is promoted to the role of Vice President, Finance and Operations. She has a 15-year tenure overseeing finance at some of Canada’s fastest growing agencies. In her new role, she will work closely with the business directors to ensure revenue targets are met and financial performance is maintained. She will serve as the senior lead for agency recruitment, professional development and agency revenue goals, while also working with Jennifer on client growth strategies.

“These moves are designed to fuel APEX’s ambitious growth plans and reinforce our industry-leading position. We have been extremely fortunate to have two strong senior-level practitioners at our agency that we feel can continue to drive our business forward,” said Ken Evans, Co-Partner of APEX PR.

Partners, Ken Evans and Linda Andross will continue in their roles as Managing Partners, focused primarily on speciality services such as issues and crisis management, media training and operational excellence respectively.

In 2024, APEX won the KAO Brands Biore business, handling event, influencer and media relations and was named the new PR AOR for Wealthsimple, leading the brands strategic communications and consumer media relations across Canada.
