Let’s cheer on Team Canada and Canadian Small Business Owner
Canada’s Olympic Team and Canadian small business owners have more in common than meets the eye. Over the past year and a half, Team Canada athletes and Canadian small business owners have had to prove their strength and resilience, driving through to the finish line as the country battles the COVID-19 pandemic and begins to recover.
As Team Canada heads to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games this month, GoDaddy is encouraging Canadians to support our local athletes and local entrepreneurs. GoDaddy Canada’s latest marketing campaign features three Canadian small business owners and encourages entrepreneurs to “Don’t Stop Being Unstoppable”, like Canadian Olympian Andre De Grasse.
As De Grasse competes in the Games this month, his grit and determination to reach the top of the podium is matched by the small business owners he worked with on the GoDaddy campaign. Canadian small business owners Stephany of Piñata Smash Cake, Lisa Cowan of SOL Studio Pilates and John MacDonell of Mac’s Metalworks are featured sharing their stories to help inspire other small business owners across Canada.
Over the past year, GoDaddy has continued to cheer on Canadian small business owners by providing the tools they need to succeed online. With the pandemic necessitating a dramatic shift to online for businesses across the country, GoDaddy began working on enhancements to its ecommerce and social media offerings in the Website Builder product. Last month, GoDaddy announced that Canadian entrepreneurs can now sell their products through two of the world’s largest online marketplaces, Amazon and eBay.
In addition to this integration, entrepreneurs can also schedule, publish, and monitor their company’s Instagram account from the GoDaddy Website Builder dashboard, making GoDaddy among the few to offer direct post publishing to Instagram in Canada. This integration streamlines the social media process allowing small business owners to spend more time on the things that matter most to them!
As Team Canada heads to the Games and Canadian small business owners head into reopening, they will both require the support of Canadians coast-to-coast to make it past the finish line. So this summer, be sure to cheer on Team Canada and Canadian small business owners like Stephany, Lisa and John!
